Why to remove the core of the cheese head?

When the cylindrical cheese is cut into portions and sent to the packaging, it becomes necessary to remove the cheese core. This is done for the following reasons:

  • When cutting into portions and further packing cheese, the thin triangular tip of the segment may crumple and crumble, leaving uneven edges. The same thing happens during the transportation and transfer of packaged cheese to the shelf. As a result, the cheese does not look attractive to the consumer.At the same time, the cut tip of the cheese withstands all packaging and logistical friction and reaches the consumer a beautiful appearance.
  • You can make a profit from the cut-out core by offering it to the consumer an original snack. Some cheese producers pump up such cores and sell them as snacks. The core of the cheese can be grated or further processed. This is a double reduction in losses and additional profit for the manufacturer.
